1. Use of the App

BeLine is a car-sharing platform designed to connect passengers with independent drivers for transportation services. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Eligibility

• Passengers: Must be at least 18 years old to create an account independently.

• Minors: Users under 18 may ride only when accompanied by an adult or with explicit parental consent where local laws permit.

• Drivers: Must meet specific age, licensing, and vehicle requirements as outlined in our Driver Agreement.

2. User Account

To use BeLine, you must create an account providing accurate information, including your name, email, phone number, and payment details. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials and OTP codes secure.

• Maintaining the accuracy of your profile and contact information.

• All activities, bookings, and charges that occur under your account.

3. User Responsibilities

By using BeLine, you agree that you will NOT:

• Use the service for illegal transportation or activities.

• Provide false information or impersonate others during registration.

• Interfere with the safety of drivers or other passengers.

• Attempt to bypass our payment systems or “offline” a ride.

• Damage vehicles or harass members of the BeLine community.

4. Booking and Payments

• Upfront Pricing: BeLine provides fare estimates or fixed prices before you confirm a ride.

• Payments: Charges are processed via linked cards or the BeLine wallet.

• Cancellations: Cancellation fees may apply if you cancel a ride after a driver has been dispatched.

5. Safety and Data

BeLine provides tools for real-time tracking and identity verification to enhance safety.

• Verification: Users must upload accurate profile photos and documents for safety checks.

• Tracking: You acknowledge that your location data is processed during active rides to ensure service delivery and safety.

6. Modification or Termination of Service

We reserve the right to:

• Update features, pricing models, or app functionality.

• Suspend or terminate accounts for safety violations, fraud, or non-payment.

• Discontinue service in specific geographic regions without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, and software code related to BeLine are the exclusive property of BeLine. You agree NOT to:

• Copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the App.

• Use BeLine trademarks for commercial purposes without permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of the app is governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect and protect your location, contact, and payment data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• BeLine is provided “as is” and “as available.”

• We are a platform connecting users and are not liable for the individual conduct of third-party drivers or passengers.

• We are not responsible for items lost or left in vehicles.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless BeLine and its owners from any claims or expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your conduct during a ride, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App signifies your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Objectionable Content & Conduct

BeLine has zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior. Users may report safety incidents or offensive behavior directly through the App. The administrator reviews all reports and may permanently ban users who violate community standards.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BeLine operates, unless otherwise required by local law.
